Behind The Scenes: “ Mother's Day”

with Director Garry MArshall The moment I wrapped filming
Botched IMprov:
it was the first week of my senior year of high school. after three years of auditioning and no jobs, i was afraid i'd never get to work in film again. then along came legendary director garry marshall I remember riding over to the audition in atlanta absolutely terrified since I hadn't had an in-person callback in five years. Garry, the famed director of “Happy Days,” “Mork and Mindy,” and “Pretty Woman” was a legend. He discovered robin williams and julia roberts. he was gracious. he was kind. he was the most relaxed director I've ever worked with. I won't ever forget him coming up to me, grabbing my face with both hands, and proceeding to ask a “Very important question! What's your mother's name?” then he proceeded to greet my mother with the grandest hug I'd ever seen. it was his last film before he passed away the following year. it was his 131st project. It was one of the greatest honors of my life.

Fighting back tears with lucy walsh after wrapping
Bonafide Rockstar:
We were filming the party scene where Jason breaks his leg and I was sitting in one of the back rooms with one of the other actresses. Me and lucy hit it off and come to find out, not only is she an incredible teacher and actress, but rock and roll royalty. Her father, Joe walsh, is the legendary guitar player and vocalist in the Eagles, and as if that wasn't enough, her uncle is ringo starr. it was this shoot that I decided that i truly wanted to continue acting for the rest of my life. Lucy's continued encouragement has always played a large part in that. To this day she's one of my best friends and closest confidants.
